Aug 26, 2006· I have the opportunity to obtain some silver nitrate powder from a chemist friend of mine. Does anyone know if this would be the exact powder that can be obtained in the dial resilvering kits, available from Timesavers etc? Or would it perhaps be a little more pure? I have used the kit, and have not always been happy with the results.
